This is the worst chipotle I have ever been to. The portions of food are drastically smaller then any other restaurant I have been to. The older Hispanic women who made our burritos hardly put any effort into creating them, let alone bother to put the correct portions of food on the tortilla. She wrapped the burritos horribly, which caused the food to leak out all over everything I was wearing. Which was just great! While I was paying my boyfriend made a comment that we had to be served the smallest burritos that chipotle has ever made, and the young awkward cashier responded in a rude and unfriendly way. Apparently if you would like standard size which all other chipotle's serves you need make sure to ask for "extra". He also informed me when he's on the line his portions are bigger. Thanks! Way to go on making me feel like I got ripped off. I'm shocked at customer service standards and bewildered that chipotle would allow them to serve food.

Foods fresh but don't order a quesadilla here unless you want to be charged more for what the menu lists. Menu reads ~4 for a meat quesadilla and they charged me $5.55. Soggy to boot. I love chipotle but this one needs to update their menu prices.

Worst chipotle in co. Service was terrible wtf doesn't corporate office care that this place is representing there company and making them look like a joke. I got a whole 6 little strands of cheese and not even a full scoop of beans. They didn't offer drinks or give us napkins in the bag. My girlfriends burrito exploded all over her and the car. I did notice I got beans, meat, and cheese on my burrito and by the time I got to the car it was cold. I will be contacting the health dept. hot food needs to be held at above 141 and the beans and chicken where cold.

Warning. Do not expect to come to the restaurant and have a line less than 15-20 people. The food isn't worth waiting 30 minutes to order.

First off...I love Chipotle....but this Chipotle needs work. Saturday at 2pm and the majority of the empty tables were dirty. The beverage station was a mess. The floors looked like they hadn't been touched all day! Service was all about getting you through the line...it was...."what can i get you" not even a hello. Hello management?....fix this store!

First we love Chipotle in general. However tonight we were not impressed. We went into the Chipotle in Castle Rock, Co on our way back to Colorado Springs. We arrived about 10 minutes before closing and the place was still pretty full of customers. Upon ordering, the Hispanic male who started my order tried to put things on my burrito that I didn't want. I ordered a burrito with white rice, no beans, barbacoa beef, pico, sour cream, cheese and guacamole. How hard is that to understand? And I will add that he spoke perfect english. So after he tried to add pinto beans and grilled onions and peppers, the rest of my order went ok until the girl at the end of the line tried to wrap my burrito. She must have been new, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt. When she rolled my burrito half of the guacamole came out. The guy was nice enough to offer to add a tortilla. My fiance ordered his usual steak bowl with extra rice, no beans, extra steak, extra sour cream, extra cheese, corn salsa and a bag of chips. The portions were smaller than other locations, but the taste was the same. As we got ready to pay, my fiance asked for a bag of chips. The cashier said they didn't have any. However the same guy who made my order stopped him and said that they did have chips and went and got two bags. The cashier said that he needed to charge us for two bags of chips. The Hispanic guy told him no and that he was giving us the second bag at no charge as the cashier was being rude to us. While we were in the middle of eating our food, one of the employees came over to us as well as another family and told us that they close at 10:05 and that basically we needed to leave. He did not say excuse me or anything. The employee who came over to us had to be college age with dirty blonde hair that was barely combed. This guy was also the cashier. I don't understand how people can be so rude to customers. McDonald's doesn't even tell people to leave when their lobby closes. Ugh... my fiance will be calling not only the restaurant management but also their corporate office. We will definitely not go back to that location again.

I've always had a good experience at this Chipotle, but I don't go to many others so I can't comment on the other reviewers saying that others are better. I've always gotten exactly what I ordered, with a person efficiently wrapping my burrito to hold in the food, and generous portions. Great for my recent low-carb adventures since I can skip the rice and tortillas and focus on the veggies!

Like other reviewers have said the service is the worst. The restaurant is always packed but not totally due to unpopularity...the team that works there is so slow and so rude. My ailing 85 year old grandfather can make a burrito faster than these guys. I have noticed in my last couple of visits that the food has been cold, and it is not as fresh as what I'm used to with Chipotle standards. This location survives because it is the only location in Castle Rock. But that is no excuse for the slow service and below standard food.

I really love Chipotle on most occasions, but they continue to get orders wrong - and when its a carry out order that's the worst! We have been using the Chipotle app to order our food and then pick it up at the counter which is so great and saves time from waiting in line. But the past 3 times we have ordered using the app, they have gotten something wrong each time. And when it's your kids meal - that makes it all that much more frustrating because of how picky they can be. If you use the app to order - beware.

I love Chipotle as a company, and have a ton of respect for the brand. However, this location is lacking in customer service skills every single time I've been in. Just sucks to not get the Chipotle experience here.

Never had chipotle until I moved to CO. Food is fresh and service is pretty fast. The staff is friendly too. Parking could be a problem during lunch rush and the restaurant itself has limited seating so I try to go earlier or later to avoid the crowd. I love their chips and guacamole!

This Chipotle gave Castle Rock a new place to go for lunch and dinner when it opened a number of years ago, dressed just like the ones that have come before and after it. There is nothing especially remarkable about this location, other than the convenience of the place. The food and service are just as good as all the other ones. Walk up, order your food and they will make it right in front of you as you say yes to this or no to that. Or just point. The crew's preternatural ability to know you wanted pico de gallo and not the hot sauce is amazing. Be prepared to pay extra for the guacamole. While tasty, it seems a tad expensive, but I suppose avocado is. They also have options besides fountain drinks, something I'm a fan of. Thank you, Chipotle for being so close by. See you soon.

This Chipotle is just like every other Chipotle in terms of food (love the food), but my review is about the service. A new employee made a mistake when we bought a gift card. He got the manager who explained he couldn't change anything on the gift cards through their system. He called the general manager and was going to call IT to try to fix it. He offered some free burritos instead so we wouldn't have to wait any longer. Mistakes are going to happen - the places that stand out are those that are willing to do what it takes to make things right. I will definitely go back.

Enjoyed my lunch + a few hours of getting work done here around lunch time today. The service was extremely efficient with plenty of people working the assembly line and keeping the customer's moving. Nolan, at the cash register, was especially kind and pleasant. My burrito was made to perfection and I will certainly be returning :)

UGH!! So slow: this location is always miserably slow and frequently backed up. Unlike every other Chipotle I've visited, this location is disorganized and inept and it seems to be the order of the day: EVERY DAY. They pay no attention to their surroundings (or the lines) and none whatsoever to the customer. I watched the meat server cleaning his "line" while my food was laying in the area he was cleaning. Yuck!! Sadly there was also a line of customers to the door while he was flipping food remnants and whatnot into my open burrito. I'd have liked brown rice but was told it would be another 15 minutes until it was ready. When the girl behind me ordered it too I noticed there were 3 tubs of it coming from the back. Did the guy cleaning turn and reload the rice? NO. Did he grab me a spoonful when I specifically asked him to? NO. How about the lady behind me who also wanted some for her meal (and could see it sitting there plain as day)? Nope, none for her either. These folks are either willfully stupid or just high. They have no sense whatsoever of their surroundings or who they're serving. I was a frequent customer at the Chipotle in Cherry Creek when I worked in the area. That store is 2 to 3 times busier than this location and I never stood in line longer than 5-6 minutes. The staff was friendly, motivated and organized. Not so here, and it really pisses me off that this is the best they can do here in Castle Rock. As it's my home location I probably will be back, despite the frustration it is bound to entail, but trust me, one more visit like this last one and I will never come back. There is other food nearby and Lincoln or Parker isn't too far to drive to save the aggravation.

Beware this Chipotle- food is standard Chipotle fare, good. But service is really SLOW! Not sure what is going on but there is constant turnover of employees. The line is usually close to making a complete circle around the dining room and moves painfully slow. Can take 20-30 mins to get to the front! Much much faster at other chipotle with a similar crowd.

I was in the Castle Rock chipotle the other day with my two year old niece when I happened upon one of the managers yelling at an employee calling them a f*cking sh*t head. Sorry but I don't consider that type of behavior professional and will take my business somewhere else.

Okay, I confess....I love Chipotle! Not when I am craving an authentic Mexican experience but instead craving an enormous "burritofull" of comfort food. The freshness and flavor of their grilled chicken sucks me in the door. A burrito piled high with rice, veggies, chicken, guacamole and cheese is my idea of comfort. Additionally, I love a little heat to help me achieve my "comfort zone"! The hot Chipotle salsa does not disappoint. Being a build it yourself gourmet burrito experience, everyone can design their own idea of delicious. No one here blinks if you want to a mix of salsas for a custom flavor. ;-D The fact that I can order brown rice and freshly made guacamole enhances my appreciation for the Colorado born fast food establishment. Chipotle's commitment to naturally raised meats and responsibly grown produce makes me feel better about dining here...even if I am indulging in a burrito the size of my head! I was thrilled when they opened the Castle Rock store. It is fairly convenient to park at this location and the shop itself is clean. Top marks to our area Chipotle!

I walked in there to grab dinner for my fam on Sat night and I actually had to ask if something happened...there was NO line. It was AWESOME! It may have just been lucky this night, but hey I'll take it. This is my husband's go to for a grab and go dinner spot. The guac is expensive but I feel like you get more when you ask for it on the side ;) and it is ohhhh so good. The spicy salsa, let's just say I had them put it on my burrito when I was trying to go into labor ;) It has got a GREAT kick to it. Love that they have brown rice too.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization.
